This Topsy Turvey wedding cake was designed for a couple of lovers of wild spaces.
Ken is passionate about cycling and is busy making his way up this moutain cake on his sugarcraft bike to his lovely bride Carol. Mia their cat is in attendance with her little tiara; she's such a Princess!
Novelty cakes like this are always huge fun and we can add any little details requested, such as the waterwheel featured here and the herons and kingfishers which the couple often spy along the banks of the river Leith where they've made their home. The Waters of Leith is a tranquil winding green corridor in Scotland's capital city and now a designated Urban Wildlife Site. It's a haven for many species of birds, wildlife and a peaceful route for walkers and cyclists.
'Ken and I would like to thank you so very much for creating the most amazing and memorable cake for us. It certainly was a real work of art and it was much admired and photographed. Your attention to detail is incredible. Carol & Ken, The Glasshouse, Edinburgh'
